I got some great news over the Christmas holiday as my kick-ass wife decided to pick me up the new Football Manager a month or two in advance of where I had budgeted it for this season, so I am going to be suspending last season’s “Ultimate Manager” challenge save, but we DID qualify for the Champions League in our final season, even if it was just to the Playoff as we finished 4th.
I had a ton of fun as Stevenage FC last season, and actually, its quite possible to get them very quickly in a new “Ultimate Manager” challenge save… but I’m not quite sure if I’m going to keep on with that challenge this year. I know I’ll enjoy the early part of the challenge, with the building up of a LLM club, but I’m not sure I’ll like having to move once I have something established at a club I really love.
